If there is an upgrade of the OS, then the the OS from IMEI tool is not going to be accurate, right?

As we know, GSMA will request to provide Brand and Model when allocating TAC number, we’re thinking GSMA may has more entries than other websites, I’m not sure whether we’re right or not.

What’s the advantage of imei-number.com, please kindly give more details.

Hi, GSMA is the registry which have most of the records, but on market there are also phones which were never registered for TAC allocation. They are used with some TAC code which was never produced or even used with one existing TAC. We are trying to sort out all those things. Next thing that we found out is, that GSMA has product codes instead of marketing names with some records, we try to have marketing names (which are known to people). Also GSMA has only Manufacturer and model, we have also device_type, operating system and other specs with images for most of the used devices. We have also database, software, websites, services, connections for checking accuracy of records. We think that we have the best collection available. If you need more details, you can contact us. We have different options.

Is your database different than GSMA db?

I mean if a device is registered with you does that mean it is registered at http://imeidb.gsm.org/imei/login.jsp

    Thank you
